ART OF PRAYER #9: A 'WAKE-UP' CALL!
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another day where I can be counted among the living. For death stalks the land and countless precious souls did not live to see today. In particular, COVID-19 continue to wreak havoc throughout the globe. Comfort those during this time of grief, and let them rest in Your promise that they will see their loved ones again.
Father, for those who continue to live life without the knowledge of Jesus, I pray for their salvation before it is too late. I pray that this pandemic may be a ‘wake-up call’ for all of us who continue our slumber in sin. Yes, O Lord, the harvest is plentiful.
According to Matthew 9:37-38, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into his harvest."
I pray for more ‘labourers’ so that that the lost may be saved. I thank You O Lord, for revelation knowledge, wisdom, divine appointment, healing of spiritual blindness, miracles – so that ‘eyes may see’ and ‘ears may hear’ the truth of Your Word. For as Your Word says in Proverbs 20:12 (ESV):
“The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the LORD has made them both.”
. Thank You, O Lord, for answered prayers. All honour and glory, belong to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
