12: BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your Word in Matthew 5:9 which declares:
 "9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."
Lord, as Your child, I should always strive to be a peacemaker.
Lord, in situations where there is strife or discord, help me to sow seeds of peace. I speak peace to every family problem that breeds division.

I pray that as a child of God, I will put making peace above foolish pride or the need to defend my position, and to be right in the eyes of men.
Lord, I recognize works of the devil in the midst of strife, and declare that he will not cause further division among my family and those I love. I declare that he will not destroy my relationships with my loved ones. I rise above non-forgiveness, anger and stubbornness and see the greater good and value to me and my family in being a peacemaker. I pray for humility and long-suffering, even as I seemingly give up some rights and make compromises so that I can strive for peace.

Lord, Your Word is clear in respect of my active role in pursuing peace at all cost:
Hebrews 12:14 : Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
Matthew 5:23-24 says: “23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”
Romans 12:18: If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.

Lord, I know that I do not have any control over how others may react when I try to make peace with them. Lord, I leave that to You. I remain satisfied knowing that I obey Your Word.
I pray that my ways are pleasing to You, so that You make even my enemies to be at peace with me (Proverbs 16:7).
I speak the peace of God over my life!
Philippians 4:7: “ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.”

Psalm 4:8: “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.”

I pray that the peace of God rules in my heart (Colossians 3:15), and declare that I’m blessed! In Jesus name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
