#12:  I CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF CHRIST

Heavenly Father

I thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ. Today, I celebrate the birth of the risen Christ,  who saved a wretch like me! 

He is my Comforter in times of sorrow.

"For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ." - 2 Corinthians 1:5

He is my Healer during sickness. For Jeremiah 17:14 declares:
"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise."

He is my Restorer and Rock!

Job 42:10 testifies:

 “ After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.” – Job 42:10

I boldly declare  “The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer”  (2 Samuel 22:2).

He is the ‘I Am.’ He is God, the Son, the never-changing, all powerful and matchless One.

John 1:18, says  “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.“

For Jesus declared:

• I am the Bread of Life (John 6:35)
• I am the Light of the World (John 8:12)
• I am the Door (John 10:9)
• I am the Good Shepherd (John 10:11,14)
• I am the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25)
• I am the Way and the Truth and the Life (John 14:6)
• I am the Vine (John 15:1,5)

He is my Saviour:

“Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” – Titus 2:14

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” – Matthew 1:21

He is the Truth. 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”- John 14:6

Thank You for Your Son, The Christ, for He is so real to me! In Jesus’ name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
