#6: A PRAYER FOR MY ENEMIES 

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." - Matthew 5:44.

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for the rain and sun that You graciously give to both the evil and the good.

According to Your Word in Matthew 5:43-44 .

“ …. it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. ”

Forgive me, O Lord, for hating my enemies. As Your Word declares, teach me to love my enemies. I bless them that curse me. I continue to do good to them that hate me.

Today, I pray for my enemies, and all those who despitefully use and persecute me.

I thank You for that inner peace which also comes from forgiving all who have wronged me. In Jesus’ name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
