ART OF PRAYER #13: PRAYER FOR ENLIGHTENMENT

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for understanding today. According to Ephesians 1:18, I pray that the eyes of my understanding be enlightened;

I declare that I will have clarity of thought concerning the challenge(s) that I face (state problem(s)). I harken unto the voice of Your Holy Spirit who guides me in all truth. I pray that I may have a heightened sense of discernment and spiritual understanding so that I may better understand Your truth. I pray for revelation concerning dreams, divine thoughts, visions and the likes relating to the solution(s) to my problem(s).

Where there is spiritual darkness, witchcraft at work, powers and principalities at play in my affairs, I declare that the light of Christ will put them to flight.

Let my eyes remain focused upon You, O Lord, so I will receive daily insights concerning the hope of Your calling for my life. In the name of Jesus, I come against every spirit of distraction masquerading as chaos and confusion, or ‘quick fixes’ to my problems. Grant unto me the spirit of patience and perseverance as I wait and trust in You for my breakthrough.

I claim every blessing, and declare that my steps are ordered by the Lord. I walk in the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in my life. Nothing shall be lost, and the fullness of my potential will be realized during my lifetime, all for Your honour and glory.  I speak life over me, and rebuke every spirit of pre-mature death that is stalking me.  In Jesus’ name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
