PRAYER 11: COMFORT ME, O LORD
Our Father,
I continue to trust You - more so during this pandemic. I sing praises unto Your holy name.
According to Your Word in 2 Corinthians 1:3:
“ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
I thank You for comforting me during my trials, and for seeing me through times of despair. For Your promise in Hebrews 13:5 is true! “You will never leave (me) nor forsake (me).”
Lord, as stated in Your Word, enable me to be a source of comfort to others in their time of need.
I rebuke every spirit of depression and loneliness. I declare that I shall live and not die - to bring honour and glory to Your name. I shall testify of your goodness and mercy towards me.
Even when I may not feel safe, I speak the Word of Job 5:11:
“ The lowly (You) set on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.”
Thank You, O Lord, for setting me on high – above all principalities and powers; above the rulers of the darkness of this world, and above every spiritual wickedness in high places. Above all sickness and pestilence.
I thank You, O Lord, for answered prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen
