Artist's Commentary:
This painting was completed on Republic Day (Trinidad and Tobago) and symbolizes unity, strength and healing amidst every fiery trial that the child of God may face! It was inspired by the past 'tiff' between Nikki Minaj and certain government officials of Trinidad and Tobago over the effects of the COVID-19 vaccines.
Right now more than ever, there is an urgent need for healing and love. Amidst this pandemic, we should not allow personal differences to divide us. Let us unite in 'agape' love to support and help each other survive these difficult and uncertain times.
Colour me red, and
let the precious blood of Jesus
cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Colour me white,
and let the light of Christ
guide my every step.
Colour me black,
and let the fullness of
Your Divine purpose
for my life be realized,
as I walk in
Your perfect will.

PRAYER #1: RESCUE ME, O LORD!
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your promise to rescue me from all my trials. Help me to keep my faith, and to continue to trust in You.
I declare that no weapon form against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against me shall be condemned.
Even though I may feel misunderstood and wrongly accused, let me hold my peace, and allow Your love to prevail in the midst of the situation. For God is love!
I pray for wisdom which will allow me to make the right decisions in the midst of my trials.
I declare that I am not overwhelmed by condemnation, worry nor anger. Instead, Your peace prevails over my life.
I continue to pray for those, even my family members, who raised their hands and tongue against me. I declare restoration in broken homes and family relationships, as the love of Christ continue to reign in my heart.
Forgive me, O Lord, for my own sins, as I forgive others for theirs.
I pray for healing of every pain and hurt that I feel. I come against discord, strife and hatred.
Colour me red, and let the precious blood of Jesus cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Colour me white, and let the light of Christ guide my every step.
Colour me black, and let the fullness of your divine purpose for my life be realized, as I walk in Your perfect will. Amidst my fiery trial, I declare that I will not abort my fiery trials.
I declare that I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth my fruit in my season; and whatsoever I do shall prosper.
In Jesus' name I pray with thanksgiving.
