Artist's Commentary :
There is a warrior inside each of us. The painting shows the warrior within bursting forth when his only chance of survival is to fight. However, this battle is not won by sticks and stones nor guns and bombs. It is won by those who wrestle in prayer.
For the battle is the Lord's.
As the heavenly hosts wage war against the kingdom of darkness, God will put our enemies to flight.
2 Kings 7: 6 -7 states:
" 6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host...7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life."
No pandemic is too big, nor is any situation too hopeless for God. He will give us the victory! What an awesome God we serve!

PRAYER
Taken From of Ephesians 6:11-18
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for life.
I put on the whole armor of God, that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For I do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
O Lord, I take up the whole armor of God, that I may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
I stand therefore, having girded my waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, I take the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And I take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
Help me to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
In Jesus’ name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
