Going Beyond Boundaries...

 Art of Prayer

#3:  GOD WILL SUPPLY ALL MY NEEDS

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19

Painting entitled "My Provider" by Alton Felix (2012). Acrylic on canvas.

Let's remember the testimony of King David in Psalm 37:25:

"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."

Keep the faith and be safe! You are blessed!

PRAYER #3: GOD WILL SUPPLY ALL MY NEEDS

Heavenly Father,

I stand on Your Word in Psalm 23:1-6 ESV which says:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."

I remember the testimony of Your servant David who said in Psalm 37:25:
"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread."

In spite of my situation, I obey 1 Peter 5:7 ESV and cast all my anxieties on Jesus, because He cares for you.

Let me be so distracted by the ungodly who seem to prosper.  David again in Psalm 37:1-40 reminds me:
"Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act."

Lord, teach me according to Your Word in Philippians 4:6 ESV  which says:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."

Instead, help me to have a giving and tithing spirit, even during my times of needs and wants. There is a blessing awaiting me as I put You to the test. You said in Malachi 3:10 ESV:

"Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need."

Yes, O Lord, during my trials, I believe Psalm 23:1 ESV which says:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want!"

Lord, I take full authority over my mind, and declare the Word in Matthew 6:34 ESV:
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

And also in Matthew 6:31 ESV, which says:
"Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’"

Instead, O Lord, I daily strive to:

"..seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to me."

For I believe Your Word in Philippians 4:19 ESV which declares:
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

I thank You, O Lord, for my safety and for Your renewed goodness and mercy towards me. In Jesus' name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
